The Siena collection is a celebration of the refined, craftmanship of both our artigiano del metallo and alabastrai in Italy.
It's the very nature of the stone that shapes its pattern.
This intricate pattern is only revealed through the process
of carving away.
Impossible to predict, but a record of its journey.
Blocks are prepared for the hands of skilled master artisans who then meticulously carve each shade from the solid stone ensuring a perfect fit, revealing a flawlessly pure-white translucency complemented by subtle brown accents.
Each alabaster shade is meticulously revealed through the unhurried, methodical art of our traditional Italian stone carving techniques.
The brushed metal is finished by hand with the utmost attention and intention. This process can not be rushed and takes several slow methodical rounds until we get the desired texture and tone.
Look close enough and you may still see the pencil marks from the artisan. A true "oggetto d'arte."
