Vara Alabaster Sconce in Brushed Brass
A nod to the 18th century Roman frescoes that inspired Cy Twombly’s paintings. The Vara collection is the largest stone piece in our collection. Hand carved from a solid block of alabaster, it showcases the unparalleled skills of our Italian stone artisans. From the difficultly of mining the solid stone block, to methodically hand-carving the form, the large span of alabaster reveals the beautiful coloration and natural veining that accentuates the stone's distinctive depth. Each piece is unique.
This exquisite Oggetto d'Arte is mounted to either a wall or ceiling using our signature hand finished brass thumbscrews.
The Vara collection is available in our rich black patina or brushed brass. Custom finishes or finish matching are available by request.
