The metal shade of the Forma Flush Mount is skillfully spun celebrating the refined, unparalleled attention of our master finishers in Northern Italy.
Each shade, screw and canopy is dipped separately by hand into our specially formulated patina bath. This process cannot be rushed and takes several slow methodical rounds until we get the desired darkness.
Much like marble, our alabaster undergoes millions of years of formation in the hills of Northern Italy and it's the very nature of the stone that shapes its pattern. This pattern is only revealed through a traditional hand-carving process that dates back to 1895.
Distinguished Italian sculptors like Michelangelo utilized alabaster to highlight the mineral’s translucent quality that emits a warm glow when illuminated.
The brass shade supports the translucent alabaster plate by three decorative ornaments, emitting a delicate warm glow.
The Forma ceiling flush mount can stand alone or be grouped together, serving as primary or secondary light sources down a long hallway or as a jewel-box powder room light.
The Forma collection is available in our signature rich black patina, brushed brass, and brushed nickel. Custom finishes or finish matching are available by request.
